Hello

Here's who I am & what I do

I am a Canadian-Greek Mechanical Engineer with experience in Global Logistics and a strong passion for technology. Guided by simplicity and determination, I aim to deliver value to my customers and employers.

My Story

Born in Toronto, Canada and raised on the island of Crete, Greece, my life has been defined by my interaction with a multitude of contrasting cultures. I have always been a curious individual who always had the need to understand how everything works.

At the age of 22 I graduated from the Hellenic Mediterranean University as a Computer Engineer and after serving in the Greek Army, as a Paratrooper, I moved to Estonia to pursue my dreams.

In Tallinn, Estonia, after a multitude of casual jobs (carpenter, bartender, DJ, handyman) I landed a job as a logistics manager for Ericsson. This allowed me to pursue my desire for a master's degree in engineering.

In 2020, amidst the global pandemic, I graduated from the University of Technology in Tallinn (TalTech) in the field of Mechanical and Electronic Engineering with a GPA of 3.8.

Armed with my 5-year experience working for a multinational company and my BSc and MSc, I decided to move to Germany to pursue my Engineering Dreams. Thankfully, in 2021, an internal position opened up, for a Mechanical Design Engineer and that is how I started living my engineering dream!

After years of working in an environment full of experienced engineers on the global stage, I decided to move to the US and join a company dedicated to helping people in need. As a Design Engineer in Pallet, I designed and implemented novel solutions for emergency shelters. In my time there, we managed to boost production and reduce cost. We built a multitude of homeless shelters around north America helping hundreds of people stand back on their feet.

Next step in my career came when I received an offer to join one of the greatest names in the heavy-duty truck industry, Kenworth Trucks. As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, I am once more working in the forefront of global engineering, and I am able to enhance my skillset while providing value to a company whose values align with mine.
